Founder and Director
Fazila Farhad
Australia Trade and Tourism was founded in 2021 by Director Fazila Farhad who holds an Economics degree from UCL.
With over 20 years in the hotel & hospitality sector, Fazila has owned and managed hotel brands by Accor ,IHG hotels & resorts and Wyndham.
Her expertise spans tourism, hospitality, and strategic growth initiatives, underpinned by a degree in Economics from University College London (UCL) and a multidisciplinary background in banking, marketing, construction, product management, and hotel development. Her expertise lies in on destination development, tourism strategy, and investment. She is the Chair and founding board member of the Western Sydney Tourism Taskforce NSW Inc., where she leads regional collaboration with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and the upcoming Western Sydney International (WSI) Airport to position the region as a premier domestic and international visitor destination
Other board position she has held are with the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, Cabramatta Chamber of Commerce, Accommodation Association NSW (formerly TAA NSW), AHA NSW, Liquor Accord Fairfield and visitor economy Judging positions for Business NSW awards and NSW Tourism Awards

Davy Nguyen
Davy Nguyen brings over 20 years of diverse media and business experience to the board, demonstrating a proven track record and notable achievements in the media landscape. Throughout his career, Davy has held significant senior roles, including senior management positions, board of directors, and President. He is a strong advocate for culturally and linguistically diverse communities and actively supports local businesses. Currently, he serves as the Digital Media Content Director and Executive Producer at HeyYa TV, and has recently joined Multicultural NSW to contribute to their regional community network while also serving as Vice Chair of the Western Sydney Tourism Taskforce NSW.

Tom Wang
Tom Wang was the original Managing Director of Quest Liverpool, the initial high-end
accommodation provider in Liverpool's CBD, Toms expertise on hotels, redevelopment
of properties, and tourism is strong and he is also a co-founder of Western Sydney
Tourism Taskforce. Tom also has other hotel investments in Australia.
